Building a new family home is scary and exciting. Chris was one of several contractors we contacted. At our initial planning meetings Chris always came on time, was well-prepared, listened to our concerns, and provided us with the detail we requested. Most importantly, he kept the project on time and on budget. Chris was an effective troubleshooter when challenges arose. He promptly returned phone calls and handled problems quickly. Chris was attentive to special site issues that involved county agencies and thus minimized project delays. Today we are enormously enjoying our new home.

Our experience with G.J. Gardner and his team have been positive, rewarding and enjoyable. When we first considered having our home built, we weren’t sure we would like the home or process. We looked at many homes for sale, new, repo’s, short sales and a range in prices. We found our dream home with more than we hoped for with our GJ Gardner home.
From the first meeting we are constantly kept informed. We had high quality materials to choose from. Things were explained in detail and questions encouraged. It became a fun and exciting experience. Best of all now we have all our decisions on choices rolled up into one magnificent home of our choosing. The floor plan to the yard size meets our needs perfectly, and like a favorite outfit, every corner and angle we look at is our personal taste and liking.
The team is thoughtful, helpful, and knowledgeable day after day. Response time to phone calls or emails were immediate. We had regular inspections and check lists. Time was coordinated so well we finished way ahead of schedule. Quality and fine workmanship was never short changed. Our original move in date was estimated to be after the first of the year. It soon moved up to Christmas and then Thanksgiving. It turned out Halloween was our treat day for sure.

We wanted to take just a few minutes to thank you and Malcolm for the excellent job you did in remodeling our kitchen. First, we were very appreciative of the time and care you took in preparing everything prior to the beginning of the remodeling itself. We were surprised and pleased that every detail of the job was spelled out as to who was responsible for what and what the pricing schedule was. Then, we were pleased that the sub-contractors stayed on schedule. As in all projects there were a few glitches, but they were handled quickly and professionally. Jeff Kreiter, formerly of Kreiter & Sons Construction, Inc., currently J & B Valley Construction, Inc. dba G.J. Gardner Homes, built the last 28 homes of a 32 unit gated community we developed. The development is known as Park Place and it`s located at 2300 Sierra street in Kingsburg.
We worked with Jeff and his team over aperiod of approximately five years, finishing in 2005. Jeff and his team were a pleasure to work with. Many prospective buyers, and buyers had knowledgeable construction people inspect the work, and they all commented on what good quality we had.
We have recommended Jeff to others and continue to do so.
